GBC A2 Laminator
The GBC A2 laminator is a professional laminating machine for businesses that require a versatile piece of equipment for the office or design studio. It has also been manufactured by Ibico with the product code IL 19VT, however it is now a GBC product.
The GBC HeatSeal Pro Series 4000LM can be ready to laminate up to A2 size in just 2 minutes from cold. This is faster than most laminators that will only laminate up to A4 size. All that you need to do is plug the GBC A2 laminator into a power socket and set the correct heat settings and wait for the “ready light” to come on. This A2 model has 6 laminating speeds of which the fastest can laminate an A4 sheet in 40 seconds.
As the GBC 4000LM can laminate up to A2 size, it is also possible to laminate other sizes too. The Heatseal Pro Series can laminate A2 size of course, but A3, A4 and A5 laminating is no problem either. In fact it can laminate all sizes right down to a tiny name badge with no issues at all.
The 4000LM GBC A2 Laminator can laminate a various thickness of laminating pouch. Most standard laminating machines are only able to laminate up to 250 micron (125 x 125) thickness. The ProSeries l000LM however can laminate paper or card up to 500 micron (250 x 250). This thickness of this laminating film is good enough to make signs for a factory or shop floor or menus for a cafe or restaurant. It is also capable of laminating 76 micron (38 x 38) that give the document a thin coating that will protect it from moisture. There are 5 temperature settings available for the different thicknesses of pouch being used. The thicker the film being used the hotter the temperature that is required.
A2 Laminator Pouches
GBC make a wide range of laminating pouches to use in your 4000LM laminator. It will laminate all sizes of laminating film from The huge A2 size down to the tiny ID size that is just 54 x 86mm. The A2 laminating pouches are 250 micron thick and measure 426 x 600mm. They have a gloss finish that is wipe clean and can protect your documents from spillages and moisture.
