The Brother MFC-9140CDN is a true multifunction machine that can print, copy, scan and fax in colour. It boasts a document feeder, large capacity paper cassette and automatic double sided printing.

The MFC-9140CDN is a sturdy printer with a print speed of up to 22 pages per minute and a warm up time of less than 24 seconds from stand-by mode.
It’s paper cassette will hold half a ream of A4 paper and a single sheet by-pass tray for printing onto items such as letterheads or labels.
Colour printing is possible with the MFC-9140CDN as it has 4 cartridges to produce vivid colours of photographs, presentations or graphs. The cartridges that the printer requires are TN-241BK (black toner), TN-241C (cyan toner), TN-241M (magenta toner) and TN-241Y (yellow toner). The black toner has a 2,500 capacity and the cyan, magenta & cyan cartridges have a 1,500 capacity
There are other consumables that are required for the MFC-9140CDN including a drum unit DR-241CL, with a capacity of up to 15,000 pages. It also uses a belt unit BU-220CL with a capacity of 50,000 pages and a waste toner box WT-220CL, which also has a page life of up to 50,000 prints.
MFC-9140CDN As A Copier
If you need a low volume local copier, the MFC-9140CDN can easily cope with small photocopying jobs. The automatic document feeder makes light work of multiple page documents as it has a capacity of 35 A4 sheets.
The print quality is also impressive, with it’s resolution of 600x600dpi the quality of graphics is excellent for a multifunction machine. It can also print up to 99 copies in a single run and reduce or enlarge from 25% up to 400%.
Using The Brother MFC-9140CDN As A Fax
The MFC-1910CDN is also a fully functional fax machine and uses a 33.6kbps Super G3 modem to send your documents. It has 200 programmable numbers, so your commonly used locations can be stored and in case your printer runs out of paper, the MFC-9140CDN can store up to 500 pages in it’s internal memory.
